Residential Rebates for Qualified Town of Erie Utilities Residential Customers
To qualify for a rebate, you must meet all of the following requirements: Applicants must be a Town of Erie utilities customer with a current, non-delinquent account. The tree must be purchased during one of the optimal tree planting periods: SPRING: March 1 - June 15 or FALL: September 1 - October 31. Applications will not be reviewed or considered outside of the optimal tree planting periods. Trees must be purchased for planting at a Town of Erie service address. Tree must be one of the qualified tree species as determined by the Town Forester from the Approved Tree List. Ash and dwarf varieties are strictly prohibited. Trees must have an expected mature height of at least 12 feet. Deciduous trees must be 1.5 inch caliper or greater. Evergreens must be at least 6 feet tall. Trees must be purchased from one of the five Town approved nurseries. Resident accepts all planting and ongoing care of the tree. Resident will call 811 Notification Center of Colorado to request a free locate of underground utilities prior to digging. Resident will not plant a tree in the right of way without a tree work permit obtained from the Parks Division. Resident will plant/or contract the planting of the tree in accordance with the Town of Erie Tree Planting Specifications. Limit 1 tree rebate per year per household. Rebate amount cannot exceed tree price.

To receive the $150 Rebate for eligible tree purchase: Required trees must be from the Town Forester selected tree list and be purchased from an approved nursery. The tree list and nursery information is available online at: www.erieco.gov/treerebate
$150.00 rebate not to exceed purchase cost of tree. Tree cost not to include cost of planting materials, mulch, etc.
