1. Do I need to apply for a business license?

All commercial or home occupation businesses located in or doing business within the town limits of Erie are required to apply for a Business / Home Occupation License. For more information, visit: https://www.erieco.gov/1444/Business-Licenses.

2. Does the Town of Erie require dogs to be licensed?

Dog licenses are a FREE ticket home, meaning that if your dog is licensed (as required for every dog over six months of age in Erie), animal control can find their contact information and help return the four-legged family member home safely.

3. Do I need a permit for our Block Party?

Yes. You must complete an "Application for Block Parties/Street Closures" available through the Town Clerk's Office.
