At the culmination of their 7-day interactive design process, DPZ CoDesign presented a Master Plan proposal to the Board of Trustees for the Town Center study area.

The Board of Trustees will discuss the adoption of the plan at the December 10 regular meeting. The public is invited to send comments via email to TownCenter@erieco.gov through November 25.

Parks and Recreation Recognition

The Board of Trustees celebrated members of Parks and Recreation for receiving prestigious awards this year: Columbine Award for New Park Design (Star Meadows Park), Active Adults Programming and Services Section Award (Cindy Hickman), Young Professional Fellowship (Luke Bolinger) and Outstanding New Professional Award (Levi Moser).

Police Department

Erie Police Department officers presented the colors during the Veterans’ Day luncheon celebration at the Erie Community Center on November 11. Officer Price and Officer Gonzalez represent Erie as members of the Boulder County Honor Guard. Shown here after the event are Deputy Chief Lee Mathis and Officer Price.

Public Works

The water treatment plant expansion project continues to proceed ahead of schedule. This photo shows the filling of the new pre-treatment basins for leak testing. Garney Construction and Burns and McDonnell Engineers are leading this effort.
