Colorado Parks and Wildlife hosted an educational meeting Friday evening to discuss living with coyotes. More than 30 residents attended to share their encounters and learn about other reported incidents. Coexisting with coyotes is challenging for many communities in the west; coyotes are just too adaptable. And while they can be a hazard to pets, they are also helpful in keeping rabbits, mice, voles and other rodents under control. To learn more, see the CPW brochure on Living With Coyotes; How to Avoid Wildlife Conflicts
