Last week we explored with potential consulting firms options for updating the Uniform Development Code, re-energizing the Erie Commons Metro District, and options for addressing impact fee and other development related matters on the Colliers Hill development.

On Thursday, Detective Sergeant Kevin Jamison and Officer Jodi Penman represented the Erie Police Department in the procession and funeral service for Colorado State Patrol Corporal Daniel Groves.
 
This week Detectives closed out numerous 2018 cases involving vehicle trespass with arrests and arrest warrants while Officers received certification with the Less Lethal shotgun.

This week Facilities hired Radu Stroia as the Facility Operations Services Specialist.

Public Works revealed new Erie Recycling Center hours by posting signs at the gates of 1000 Briggs Street. Between the hours of 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. throughout the summer the facility can accept allowable items. During winter months the gates close at 5 p.m..

Now hiring Town Arborist

Human Resources

Human Resources began recruitment for a Town Arborist this week while continuing to recruit for: two Civil Engineers, an Economic Development Specialist, and Special Events Coordinator. 

Testing for Police Officer's and interviews for an HR Operations Manager were also underway.

Erie residents are invited to join Mayor Carroll and other Board of Trustee members for Coffee & Conversations.

This is an opportunity to ask questions and discuss issues or concerns related to the Town of Erie.  There will not be a formal presentation, so please stop by whenever you can to chat this Saturday, March 30, 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at the Erie Community Center, Briggs Room.
