Town of Erie News & Announcements

Historic Preservation Master Plan Public Meetings

The public is invited to meet with Town Staff, Historic Preservation Advisory Board members, and consultants who are all working on developing a Historic Preservation Plan for the Town of Erie.  Residents and business owners are encouraged to share ideas about historic preservation opportunities and needs in this introductory public meeting.

The goal for developing a Historic Preservation Master Plan is to ensure the identification, designation and protection of cultural resources, as well as a strategic plan that is coordinated with, and part of, the Town’s most current community planning, development and permitting efforts, along with encouraging private action to celebrate and care for the town’s history and historic resources.
