General Election Information for Erie Residents


Erie residents are advised that the November 8, 2016 General Election is being coordinated by the Boulder County Clerk & Recorder’s Office and the Weld County Clerk & Recorder’s Office. These offices are responsible for mailing ballots to the registered voters of their respective counties.

Please Note:  During this General Election, Town Hall is not a ballot drop-off location.

Boulder County Voting Information

Voter Service & Polling Centers, Ballot Drop-Off Locations


During every election, Boulder County operates Voter Service and Polling Centers and mail ballot drop-off locations, including 24-hour drop-box locations. 

In Erie, there is one Boulder County drop-off location that will be in the Arapahoe Ridge Marketplace (Arapahoe Road & Highway 287) open:

  • Friday, November 4; Saturday, November 5; Monday, November 7 from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, November 8 – Election Day from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.


Weld County Voting Information

Voter Service and Polling Centers in Weld County

  • Early Voting starts at certain Voter Service and Polling Centers: Monday, October 24

  • Deadline to register to vote by mail or online and receive a ballot by mail: Monday, October 31

In Erie, the Erie Community Center will be a Voter Service and Polling Center for Weld County open only on Election Day, November 8th from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
