Mass Casualty Incident Drill at Erie Community Center


On Friday, October 14, 2016 from 12:00 - 5:00 p.m. Mountain View Fire Rescue, the Erie Police Department and the Town of Erie will be training together on a simulated active shooter situation at the Erie Community Center, 450 Powers Street. This specific training is known as an MCI Drill or a Mass Casualty Incident Drill which provides the opportunity for police and fire personnel to test and enhance their skills in order to provide the best level of service to the citizens of the District.

Please Note:  the Erie Community Center will be closed to the public beginning at noon and will reopen for Kids Nite Out at 7:00 p.m. Residents can expect to see multiple emergency vehicles and responders in the area during this time.

If an incident such as this did actually occur, residents that are registered for reverse 911 calls should receive notification.
