SCAM Alert - Police Will NEVER Ask for Money

Police Officers will NEVER call you asking for money

Yesterday scammers spoofed the courts' phone numbers; today, scammers call from random 303 area codes and identify themselves as Erie Police Officers from a 'Citation and Warrants Division' (that does not exist).

We will never call you to advise of warrants. 

We will never call you to make an arrest.

We will never ask for money to avoid warrants or arrests.

Please never send money electronically or otherwise to anyone purporting to be law enforcement. Instead, hang up, and verify by calling us directly at 303-441-4444.
