Survey and Interview Participants Needed to Help Inform Services

The Boulder County Department of Housing & Human Services in partnership with the University of New Hampshire’s Institute on Disability are seeking participants for a survey and informational interviews about mental health and crisis services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), including autism and brain injury. The results will inform efforts to improve and streamline the community’s crisis system, improve the mental health of residents, and reduce emergency services utilization such as psychiatric admissions. Read more about the project and complete a survey.

Town of Erie Cone Zones

Each week we list the projects that may have the biggest impact on traffic flow for that week. As always, please sign up for alerts to get more details about these projects and many others. More information and details for how to sign up are at www.erieco.gov/ConeZone.

  • Utility Work for Four Corners – Beginning in mid-November, utility work will begin in preparation for construction at Four Corners near the intersection of Erie Parkway and County Line Road. Utility work may cause some single lane closures, but roads will remain open in all directions.
  • WCR 7 & Erie Parkway – The intersection at WCR 7 and Erie Parkway is open in all directions. However, the contractor did not complete the work in compliance the Town’s specifications, so Town staff are working with the contractor to ensure the contractor corrects the deficiencies and finishes all improvements to the new roadway as specified before closing out the project.
    • Foundations for the new stoplight signal are completed. Signal installation is scheduled for the beginning of 2023.

Road work is weather-dependent, and timelines may shift. Motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians should always be aware and use caution when in and around work zones. Whenever possible, please avoid the construction areas.
