Congratulations to Another Super Hero Challenge Winner

Adrian (9 years old) – Adrian’s mother is currently being treated for cancer. With the encouragement of his 4th-grade teacher and some help from classmates, Adrian began knitting scarves and wall hangings. Adrian was recently able to donate just over $500 to the Rocky Mountain Cancer Center in Boulder.

Adrian is able to do something positive for people facing the challenges of battling cancer, and his enthusiasm shines through in everything he does.

Request: Have any spare yarn to donate to Adrian’s cause? Drop them off at the Police Department (1000 Telleen Ave.), M-F, 8-5 p.m.

Did you know that the Erie Police Department has a Superhero’s Division? That's right - and it's made of kids who pay it forward to others and help make our community a better place!

If you would like to become an Erie Police Department Superhero you can start today by helping others! Youth ages 5-17 are invited to:

Keep track of your activities, and please take pictures!
Once you have completed your superhero task(s), send us your filled-out superhero form, photographs of activity/event, and a picture of you holding a sign saying '#EPDSuperHeroChallenge'.

You will be entered for a chance to win a special Superhero t-shirt, a goodie bag, an invite to a VIP Superhero party hosted by Erie Police Department (date to be determined), and be recognized on the Erie Police Department’s social media.
