Spring Clean-Up Week | May 7-14

Spring cleaning is here! Residents may register for a free voucher to drop off acceptable items at the Front Range Landfill at their convenience any of the seven days (and during operating hours) beginning May 7 through May 14. The voucher is applicable for any day of your choosing (no need to commit to any particular day or time); limit 1 per residence.

Certain items are not prohibited to be dropped off at the landfill. For these items, there is a Spring Clean-up day for the Service Center (150 Bonnell Avenue) on May 14 from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. for drop-in services. The event is intended to accept items that are NOT accepted at the landfill, including the drop-off of metal recycling, electronic recycling, and prescription take-back bags.

Visit www.erieco.gov/Cleanup for all the details and register for and print your voucher.

Words say Boulder Strong - Day of Remembrance

Day of Commemoration for Boulder Mass Shooting

Nearly one year ago, our neighbors lost 10 beloved community members in a mass shooting. The City of Boulder has planned a few events to help remember the tragic day and remain supportive to those affected. All events are open to the public and will be held outdoors (rain or shine).

  • A Boulder Police patrol car is parked in front of the Boulder Police Department (1805 33rd St.) for individuals to leave their condolences if they so choose through the evening of Tuesday, March 22. Any items left in remembrance will be given to the family of Officer Eric Talley and/or saved at the department.
  • A Line of Duty Death commemoration at the Boulder Police Department at 2 p.m. on March 22. This event will be livestreamed on City of Boulder social media.
  • A moment of silence wherever you are at 2:30 p.m. on March 22. Neighboring municipal facilities and staff, including at the Town of Erie will be participating in this moment of silence.
  • Communitywide Day of Remembrance gathering at the Glen Huntington Bandshell in Boulder from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on March 22. This event will NOT be livestreamed.

These events reflect the respected wishes of contacted victim family members who endured the unimaginable events of March 22, 2021.
