Are You are Properly Insured?

After a major event like the Marshall Fire, it is a time for us to reflect and take inventory of our own situations. Do you have a “go bag” in case of emergency? Do you have a communications plan to check in with family and friends in case of evacuation? And one thing that is vitally important in the case of home damage or destruction: Are you fully insured?

It may not be fun, but it is important to be prepared before an emergency happens. And just in the last few weeks, there have been many major fires in the national news from our own local fires in Louisville and Superior, to the fire in the apartment building in the Bronx, to another major house fire in Golden just last week. Take the time to learn a bit more about coverage options and evaluate your current plan. It could make all the difference. United Policyholders Underinsurance 101.
