The Town of Erie would like to wish you and your family a safe and happy holiday season! Town of Erie facilities and services will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 23 and Friday, Dec. 24, as well as Thursday, Dec. 30, and Friday, Dec. 31. Check out the Erie Community Center webpage for amended hours and closures and to make registrations and reservations.

Candidate Information Meeting

The Town Clerk's Office has scheduled an informational meeting for candidates interested in running for the Board of Trustees. The meeting will be held in person on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. in the Board Room at Town Hall. This meeting is not mandatory – but you won't want to miss the information shared by the Town Clerk (from the Secretary of State's Office) about the Colorado Campaign and Financial Practices Act as well as other important candidate information. For more information, email TownClerk@erieco.gov.

Operation Santa

Operation Santa

The Chairperson of Operation Santa, Bea Lease, and her elves partnered with the Erie Police Department and other local businesses to fill five truckloads of gifts delivered to 106 local children and 42 families. According to one of Santa's reindeer, "The generosity of Erie is overwhelming!"

Holiday Zero Waste Guide

Holiday Zero Waste and Tree Recycling

The Sustainability Team has prepared a Holiday Zero Waste Guide packed with ways for residents to make wise choices this season. Residents may drop off trees at the Erie Recycling Center, free of charge, for proper disposal. Please be sure to remove all décor, tinsel, lights, stands, wire, etc., and refrain from leaving other materials like garlands, wreaths, or trash.
