Town of Erie Municipal Election

During the April 5, 2022 Town of Erie Municipal Election, registered voters in Erie will be electing a Mayor and three Trustees. The Mayor will be elected to serve a two-year term, and three Trustees will be elected to serve four-year terms. Information on running for a Board of Trustees' vacancy will be published in the 2022 Candidate Handbook (coming soon). Nomination Petitions will be available on Jan. 3 for circulation on Jan. 4. They are due to Town Clerk's Office by Jan. 24, 2022. For more, visit the election and voter information webpage.

Level 1 Fire Restrictions Map by Boulder County Sheriff's Office

Headed West?

In preparation for ventures into mountainous and forested areas, county and city governments, Sheriff's Office, and the U.S. Forest Service advise a quick peek at any fire restrictions you may be recreating. Beginning on Nov. 30, the Boulder County Sheriff's Office is enacting Stage 1 Fire Restrictions for unincorporated areas of western Boulder County. Prohibited activities include open fires, shooting, or smoking outdoors. For full details, visit the news release. The firm collecting survey submissions for the County Line Road projects has uploaded responses for your viewing on the 'What We Heard' project webpage. I-25 Gateway

I-25 Erie Gateway Site

The I-25 Gateway will serve as a community gathering point for Erie residents, work commuters, and daytime visitors. The Economic Development Department intends to develop a vibrant, sustainable, urban, mixed-use, and transit-oriented development… and they are looking for a partner! A 'Request for Qualifications' has been posted seeking a partner to purchase and develop the I-25 Gateway site at I-25 and Erie Parkway. Currently, the Town owns 250 of the 1,000 developable acres. US 287 Corridor Meeting

Boulder County is excited to continue moving forward with planning on the US 287 Bus Rapid Transit Feasibility Study to evaluate transit, bike, and pedestrian improvements along US 287. Join a public meeting, virtually, at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 2 by visiting https://boco.org/US287-December2.
