Notice of Flowline/Pipeline Removal

The Town of Erie received notice from Western Midstream regarding the removal an out of service gathering line, located within Erie limits (along CR 5, south of CR 6). The flowline is to be removed in its entirety, excluding portions beneath crossing road rights-of-way which will be filled with cement and abandoned in place.

According to Western Midstream, the operation is expected to begin on September 16, 2021, and last approximately two weeks.
