Take the Community Survey Before July 19

Residents who were not selected to receive a paper version of the official Community Survey via mail, are now invited to complete the online Community Survey by Monday, July 19. The survey questions are the same with the addition of a map question -  the Town would like to know in which neighborhoods the respondents live. Please take 20 minutes to complete and submit the survey by visiting www.erieco.gov/2021Survey.
Medallion Mania

Medallion Mania is Back!

For the 5th year, the Erie Parks & Recreation Department is bringing back the Medallion hunt. The first clue of Medallion Mania will be posted at 10 a.m., Monday, July 12 on the Erie Parks & Recreation Facebook and Instagram pages. Find the medallion and win a gift basket filled with fun summer items the whole family is sure to love!

EV Charging

EV Charging Stations

Town of Erie Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations are now active and free until July 8! After the promotional period, EV drivers with a ChargePoint account will pay $0.15 per kWh at the station. Additional charging stations will be added in the near future. In the meantime, find a station, view details, and more at www.erieco.gov/EVCharging.

The Town of Erie is partnering with Resource Central to provide Erie utility bill customers with a FREE sprinkler inspection. This appointment could save you hundreds of dollars each year with thousands of gallons of water savings! On average, Town of Erie residents who participate in this program conserve 20% of their water during the watering season. Sign up today while there are appointments left!

Coal Creek Trail Closure

Extended: Coal Creek Trail Closure

The Coal Creek Trail closure will remain in place through the middle of July. For safety concerns, the trail will remain closed from Highway 7 to the trail connection just southwest of Parkdale Circle (south of the Vista Parkway bridge over Coal Creek). 111th Street Construction

Delayed: 111th Street Construction

Due to unforeseen issues, the 111th Street work had been delayed but resumed on July 2. The work is expected to last through the summer and will be performed in phases. The first phase will last for approximately 23 days and affects the intersection of Flatiron Meadows Boulevard and 111th Street to the entrance of Scofield farm. Powers Street Closure

Powers Street Closure

On Tuesday, July 6, work will commence on the installation of underground utilities for Erie Community Park - Final Phase resulting in a full closure of Powers Street north of Erie Parkway to the Library's parking lot access drive. This work should be completed by July 14. The west sidewalk of Powers Street will also be closed to pedestrians.  Access to the Erie Community Center, Library, and Ballpark at Erie, will be via the west entrance off of Erie Parkway. This entrance is right-in, right-out only.  RTD's JUMP route will remain in service during this closure and the Town will coordinate drop off and pickup locations for stop #33200. Motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists are urged to pay close attention to detours and traffic control signs. Please reduce speeds and, if possible, avoid the construction area.
