Traffic Advisory: Shouldering Operations in Town

Beginning May 3, weather permitting, a Town of Erie contractor will begin shouldering operations following the completion of new asphalt overlays throughout the Town of Erie.

County Line Road: State Highway 52 to Cheesman/Jay Roads
County Road 7: State Highway 52 to County Road 6
Vista Parkway: County Line Road to Coal Creek Bridge
Erie Parkway: County Road 5 to Town Limits east
 
The shouldering work is expected to last through the month of May. Work hours will be from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and shouldering operations will involve periodic daytime single-lane closures through the construction areas.
 
Traffic control signage, delineators, and flaggers will be on-site to enable motorists to move through the construction area in a timely and safe manner during work hours. Motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists are urged to pay close attention to detours, traffic control signs, and flaggers. Please reduce speeds and, if possible, avoid the construction area.
