Traffic Advisory: Asphalt Shouldering

A Town of Erie contractor has begun operations along roadways to properly shoulder the new asphalt overlays. The work will be performed during 8-5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and may involve periodic daytime single lane closures.

The focus areas include County Line Road (SH 52 to Cheesman/Jay Road), County Road 7 (SH 52 to CR6), Vista Parkway (County Line Road to Coal Creek Bridge), Erie Parkway (County Road 5 to eastern Town limits). 
 
Traffic control signage, delineators, and flaggers will be on-site to enable motorists to move through the construction area in a timely and safe manner during work hours.
 
Motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists are urged to pay close attention to detours, traffic control signs, and flaggers. Please reduce speeds and, if possible, avoid the construction area.
