Level Red: Severe Risk

Due to an increase in COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment moved Boulder County to Level Red: Severe Risk on November 20 and Weld County on November 22. The Erie Community Center is open on Thanksgiving Day from 6 a.m.-1 p.m. Break a sweat before the festivities begin! Access to the Center requires pre-registration for a timeslot within a specific zone. Pre-register with Amilia to select a particular workout time, fitness class, lap swim, lazy river, or court usage.

Revitalization Grant

Revitalization Grant

The Town of Erie Economic Development Department is pleased to announce that the Urban Renewal Authority has designated tax increment financing towards a Revitalization Incentive Grant Program. Within the urban renewal area, commercial properties may qualify for a matching grant to improve their external appearance and reducing blight in two categories: historic building improvements and business siting and expansion. Nine Mile Corner Development Tree Removal

Nine Mile Tree Removal

On Monday, November 30, 2020, weather permitting, a contractor for the Developer of the Nine Mile Corner Commercial project will begin removing trees for utility installations. The crews will start in the area along the north side of Arapahoe Road in the tract between Beasley Circle and 111th Street. Work hours will be from 7:00 a.m. to dusk. 287 and Isabell Road Improvements

Isabelle Road and US 287

Boulder County Public Works and its contractors have begun safety improvements at the US 287 and Isabelle Road intersection. Detours may occur as they prepare to install temporary traffic signals. Work hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and sometimes weekends. Visit the Boulder County project webpage for detailed information. 

Clayton Park Opening Shirts

Clayton Park is Open

The Parks & Recreation Department is Connecting You to Fun with Erie's newest park in the Erie Highlands Neighborhood. A Zipline, two baseball/softball fields, a multi-use field, a basketball court, and a playground including a boulder hill slide are amenities found at Clayton Park. Staff and community celebrated the park opening on Friday, November 20, wearing free Clayton Park shirts!
