On Tuesday, September 15, subject matter expert Detlev Helmig of Boulder AIR LLC. shared knowledge and answered questions related to air quality, air monitoring, safety, and more during the Board of Trustee Study Session. Utility Rate Study

Utility Rate Recommendations

On Tuesday, September 15, Raftelis, a contracted consultant, presented the results of their recent utility rate study (water, wastewater and storm drainage) for 2021-2025 during the Board of Trustees’ Study Session. Traffic Advisory Jay and Jasper Roads

Traffic Advisory - Jay and Jasper Roads

Portions of Jay and Jasper roads will be closed between N. 119th Street and County Line Road beginning Monday, September 14 – mid October for road work (trenching, milling, asphalt paving). The contractor has split the work into two phases; one with a single lane closure, and the second phase with a full road closure. Read the details in the news release.

Electronics, Metal, Medication Disposal

The Public Works Department is partnering with a variety of vendors to offer the 15th annual Fall Clean-Up event on September 19. Residents will have the opportunity to drop off electronics, recycle metal items, and participate in a medication take-back program. With the exception of the Landfill drop-off (voucher program), the Fall Clean Up event is occurring on Saturday, September 19; times and locations vary and exclusions apply. Save the Date! Erie residents are invited to recycle leaves for composting on Saturday, November 7 and Sunday, November 15 at the Erie Recycling Center. This event is only for tree and bush leaves; no garden waste, large brush, branches or tree stumps will be accepted. Some exclusions apply. For details visit the event webpage.

Open swim returned to the Erie Community Center on Saturday, September 12th! Open swim is available Saturday & Sundays with up to 20 swimmers per timeslot. All participants are expected to socially distance and follow all ECC and pool area rules while using the pool. Reserve your timeslot today!
 
Celebrate birthdays with our new ALOHA private pool party package! Package includes over an hour of private swimming for up to 20 guests, with access to the lazy river, play structure, rope swing and water volleyball net.  Additional information is available on our website.
 
Registration for October programs opened Monday, September 14th at 7am for residents. Opening activities include rock climbing classes, Survival of the Fittest, Line Dancing and more!
