Traffic Advisory: Jay & Jasper roads between
N 119th St & County Line Road

Portions of Jay and Jasper roads will be closed between N. 119th Street and County Line Road on Monday, September 14 for road work (trenching, milling, asphalt paving). The contractor expects the work to take four weeks, weather permitting. The work will be performed in two phases:

Phase 1:
Beginning Monday, September 14 - September 25, between the hours of 8a-5p, motorists can expect a single lane closure on Jay and Jasper roads. The roadway will be accessible with one lane of travel

Phase 2: 
Beginning September 28 - October 9, in the evening hours, motorists can expect a full closure of Jay and Jasper roads. Access granted to residential traffic only. Detours are encouraged at Kenosha Road and Erie Parkway from N. 119th Street.

Motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists are urged to pay close attention to flaggers, message boards, and traffic control signs, reduce speeds and, if possible, avoid the construction area during work hours. Traffic control signage, delineators, and flaggers may be on site to detour traffic around the work areas. Delays may occur and alternate routes are strongly recommended.
