Maintenance to Coal Creek Levee

Beginning the week of June 29, 2020, crews will be performing maintenance on the Coal Creek levee between Cheesman and Briggs Streets on the west side (see green highlight on the map).

Crews will be adding dirt, then compacting to level the levee that had settled. The operations will be between 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. and are expected to take one week. Restoration work (seeding and mulching) is scheduled for July 13.

In the near future, the Coal Creek construction project will increase the capacity and provide a more stable base flow channel.
