Town Facilities Open
Town facilities are open for business, with protective measures in place; hand sanitizer, designated floor markers, and Plexiglass shields at customer service desks. Many services remain available online at www.erieco.gov without physically visiting a Town facility. Please schedule an appointment for any services that require an in-person visit.
Staff is available to assist by phone (303-926-2700), email (contactus@erieco.gov), or via the ErieSubmit app. Payment drop boxes are also available for your convenience.
A few things you should know when visiting:

As noted above, please schedule an appointment for any services that require an in-person visit. Many staff members are working remotely. Scheduling an appointment will ensure the person who can be most helpful to you is on-site and able to assist when you arrive.
State and County orders require maintaining 6’ social distance and wearing a face covering; maintaining 6’ separation and wearing a face covering also demonstrates you care about the health and safety of others. The number of people allowed in common areas at any one time will be limited to ensure distancing requirements are met. Face coverings must cover the mouth and nose.
Town facilities will be opening 30 minutes later (8:30 AM) and closing 30 minutes earlier (4:30 PM) to allow for additional cleaning of workspaces and frequently touched surfaces. Cleaning and disinfecting occurs throughout the day.

June Primary Election

The Boulder County Elections Division reports that with COVID-19, it is more important than ever to make sure voter registration addresses are up-to-date to receive the June 30 Primary ballot. Final Round of Emergency Grants

The Town’s Grant Review Committee, composed of representatives from the Erie Chamber of Commerce, the Erie Economic Development Council, and Town staff, received 73 applications and awarded 44 Erie businesses a total of $300,000 in $5,000 and $10,000 Small Business Emergency Relief grants. Mental Health Awareness Month

Mental Health Partners is offering a series of events and programs throughout the month of May in celebration of National Mental Health Awareness month. This year’s celebrations coincide with the ongoing COVID-19 public health crisis, which has highlighted the importance mental wellbeing. Visit the Mental Health Partners webpage for details.

Landfill Operations

Earlier this month, the Front Range Landfill (FRL) advised the Town of increased activity along the FRL southern border (County Road 4). Landfill crews are focusing dumping operations in that area to create a screen that will decrease the visibility, noise, and dust affecting areas to the south of the FRL. Activity will also be increasing at the Denver Regional Landfill (DRL), south of County Road 6 and west of County Road 5. Crews are shifting dumping operations to the northwest end of the DRL, visible from west of the landfill, to fill and cap the DRL by January 2021. Tennis Amenities

The Arapaho Ridge and ECC tennis courts are open under Safer at Home operating protocols; six foot social distancing and limiting activity or use by four or fewer players from the same household.
