Town Center Peel Analysis - Tabled

On Tuesday, the Board tabled a resolution that would commit to fund a comprehensive engineering review of transportation at the north and south gateways of Town Center. The $90k Peel Analysis would define the configuration and improvements of the roadway; a critical step to demonstrate that the site is activated for commercial development. The peel analysis will be considered on the May 12 agenda.

Local Disaster Emergency Extended

On Tuesday, the Board extended the local disaster emergency declaration, until terminated. The declaration is important in that it allows for policies such as holding remote meetings, offering state emergency leave for employees, as well as the eligibility for FEMA disaster assistance.
