Visit the Building Division webpage to access the Customer Service Portal or call (303) 926-2780 before 4 p.m. to schedule a live video inspection for the following business day (or to request a specific business day up to 4 days in advance). Provide the active building permit number, property address, type of inspection requested and an email address. If the call is not answered, the required information along with a name and return telephone number can be left as a voicemail message.
On the day of the scheduled inspection call between 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. to speak with the assigned inspector to determine a live video inspection time between the hours of 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. A mobile device such as a smart phone, tablet or laptop with a web cam is required and should be fully charged. The area to be inspected by live video should be illuminated to the maximum extent possible. The necessary tools based on the type of inspection should be readily available, such as a flashlight, tape measure, level, GFCI tester, stepladder or other tool to facilitate the inspection.
