Tree Removal Work - Nine Mile Commercial Subdivision
On Monday, November 30, 2020, weather permitting, a contractor for the Developer of the Nine Mile Corner Commercial project will begin removing trees for utility installations. The crews will start in the area along the north side of Arapahoe Road in the tract between Beasley Circle and 111th Street. Work hours will be from 7:00 a.m. to dusk.
This work may require the concrete trail to be closed to pedestrians during the tree removal and cleanup. After the tree removal on Arapahoe Road is completed, crews will move to the west of Highway 287 to remove trees. The utility work in these areas will follow soon after. Further updates will be posted as schedules are confirmed.
Trail closure signage will be in place if the trail has to be closed for tree removal.
Motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists are urged to pay close attention to detours and traffic control signs, and flaggers. Please reduce speeds and, if possible, avoid the construction area.
