To all family members and visitors to the Mount Pleasant Cemetery: In preparation for end-of-season mowing operations, we kindly ask that ALL decorations, lights, vases, broken and damaged items, and any other temporarily attached above-ground items are removed from the cemetery before Monday, Oct. 17.
Per the rules and regulations of the cemetery, any remaining items impacting maintenance operations and cemetery aesthetics may be removed and disposed of by Town staff during the week of Oct. 17. Mowing operations are set to begin the week of Oct. 24, weather dependent. Please refrain from placing any additional items on gravesites during this time. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation for this important work.
