Since 2008, Camp Erie has been making memories that last a lifetime, and 2020 was no different. “This is our first time with Camp Erie and we are just elated! You have made a VERY bizarre 2020 into an AWESOME 2020 and for that, my family is eternally grateful. So BRAVO and thank you!!!” Is only one of many positive comments from campers to their parents.
New and returning participants and parents showed their gratitude for the staff’s excellent work while maintaining a safe environment with no confirmed COVID cases throughout the entire summer. Camp staff worked closely this past summer with both Weld and Boulder County Health Departments, the Colorado Division of Early Childhood, as well as the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment to ensure the safety of the campers and their staff, while having a safe and fun filled summer. Camp Erie staff was able to pivot, change, and be extremely flexible throughout the summer.
“Even with all the challenges you faced with COVID-19, Roslyn was excited to attend each and every day.”
Staff worked hard to provide lasting and meaningful experiences for the participants in an unprecedented summer. Campers got to enjoy a wide variety of new and familiar activities throughout the summer. Some of these activities include but are not limited to: gym games, arts and crafts, leadership activities leaving each participant with mementos that will last a lifetime! Their hard work did not go unnoticed as families were happy to share their gratitude to Camp Erie and their wonderful staff. “The kiddos had a blast this summer. As soon as my daughter got into the car today, she asked if she could attend next year. Thanks to you and your team for making this year’s camp special in these crazy times!” The summer was truly unique, leaving campers and parents eagerly awaiting Camp Erie 2021!
