Weld County Road 5 Fiber Line Work - May 9
On Monday May 9, Pauley Construction will begin utility work at the intersection of Weld County Road 4 and Weld County Road 5 to meet fiber demand needs for newly constructed neighborhoods. The work is expected to last through June 3.
The work will extend to the north on WCR 5 to a completion point at the intersection of Erie Parkway and WCR 5. The portion of work conducted near Erie High School will be completed after school lets out each day.
For this work, traffic will be restricted to a single lane for cars heading southbound and northbound on WCR 5 with flaggers in place on WCR 4, WCR 5, and Erie Parkway to facilitate traffic safely through this area. Working hours will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the closure will be picked up each day.
Motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists are urged to pay close attention to traffic control signs, reduce speeds and, if possible, avoid the construction area. Delays may occur and alternate routes are strongly recommended.
