COVID-19 Order, Resources, Closures

To slow the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus, the Town of Erie is closed for non-essential services until further notice. This includes the cancellation or suspension of all programs, classes and events and the closure of facilities, and playgrounds with shared equipment.

Town Hall is available by appointment only. Elections are proceeding as planned. Erie Community Center, Municipal Courts, and Recycling Center closed. Board and Commission meetings held virtually. All Advisory Board meetings cancelled.

On May 26, the Board of Trustees of the Town of Erie Adopted the Boulder County Board of Health Order Requiring Face Coverings in Public where Social Distancing Cannot be Maintained.

July 3rd Fireworks Canceled
In the interest of the health and safety of our community, the Town has made the difficult decision to cancel our annual 3rd of July fireworks.

Beginning Wednesday, May 26, the Erie Recycling Center (1000 Briggs Street) will accept single-stream recycling 7 days a week from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.!

COVID-19 Protocols
Visitors must provide proof of Erie residency
Facial coverings are required
No more than 8 people out of their vehicles at one time
Staff are available to answer recycling questions
Please respect the gates and posted hours
Do not leave anything outside of the bins or on the street in front of the facility
