Arapahoe Road & northbound Hwy 287

Work will be performed on the east side of the intersection of Highway 287 and Arapahoe Road with lane closures to the northbound turn lane on Arapahoe Road onto 287.

On Tuesday, October 19th, 2021, between 11 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., the contractor (Brinkmann) for the developer (Evergreen) will be performing work in the CDOT ROW on the east side of the intersection of Highway 287 and Arapahoe Road. The work will be in the northbound turn lane from Arapahoe Road onto 287 as part of the Nine Mile Corner Commercial Subdivision project.

The construction will involve lane closures of the turn lane on Arapahoe Road onto northbound 287.

Traffic control signage, delineators, and flaggers will be on-site to enable motorists to move through the construction area in a timely and safe manner.

Motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists are urged to pay close attention to detours and traffic control signs, and flaggers. Please reduce speeds and, if possible, avoid the construction area.

On Monday, January 10, 2022, as part of the development work for the Nine Mile Project, a contractor will be filling in potholes in Arapahoe Road near the private drive into the Safeway shopping center and Lowes. The work is expected to begin after 9 a.m. and last a few hours. Single lane traffic control will be in place and traffic will be fully open in both directions. 

Motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists are urged to pay close attention to traffic control signs and reduce speeds in this area.

November 4, 2021 6:30 PM

On Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021, between 8:00am and 12:00pm, Fair Winds will be replacing concrete in front of the east Safeway entrance on Arapahoe Road. This work will involve a complete closure of the entrance between this time frame. Once work is completed, the new concrete will be coned off and the entrance will be open to two-way traffic. The west Safeway entrance on Arapahoe Road will remain open for the entire duration of work.

 

Motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists are urged to pay close attention to traffic control signs. Please reduce speeds and, if possible, avoid the construction area.
