Development Fees

Water Tap 
Water tap fees are for the physical tap to the mainline and meter and are intended to fund the development’s proportionate share of the infrastructure (pipes, treatment facilities, pumps, tanks, reservoirs, etc. which are needed to make the service available.)

Sewer Tap
Sewer tap fees are for the physical tap to the sewer collection line and are intended to fund the development’s proportionate share of the infrastructure (pipes, treatment facilities, pumps, tanks, reservoirs, etc) needed to make the service available.

Fees in Lieu of Dedication - (Potable Water Rights Fee) 
Also known as the Raw Water Fees, Cash-In Lieu of Water Dedication, Water Dedication Fees, etc., the Fees in Lieu of Dedication are one-time fees to provide the water rights necessary to serve properties with potable water, based on the planned use. 

Said fees for single-family homes on lots that are 7,000 square feet or less are set the in the Town’s Municipal Code Section 2-10-6.

For all other uses, a written analysis sufficient to allow the town to fully evaluate the probable water demand and consumption is required to determine this fee.

Raw Water Fees
Raw water fees are calculated based on use.
