A handbill distribution permit is required for each applicant that will be distributing or circulating any printed or written handbills, posters, dodgers, or other advertising matter within the Town of Erie’s jurisdiction.
Handbill Permit Application
The application is filed with the Town Clerk’s office and unless the Town Clerk finds grounds for denial, the Office of The Town Clerk shall issue the handbill permit within five (5) days of the receipt of a complete application and payment.

Any person violating any of the provisions of Municode 4-2B-4 shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be punishable as provided in title 1, chapter 4 of the Code.
