Block Party Permit

Block Party Permit Application

A block party permit allows you to close a street in the neighborhood for a community gathering. You will be required to obtain the permission of your neighbors to close the street. Contacting your neighbors personally and getting their signatures will demonstrate neighborhood support for the event. There is a $10 block party application fee and a $50 deposit if renting cones from the Town. The deposit will only be accepted in the form of a check.

  • Block Party Permit applications must be completed and submitted to the Town Clerk at least thirty (30) days prior to the date the activity is to occur.
  • Block Party Permits will be evaluated based on state and county public health orders and guidelines, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.  For more information, please visit the State’s Safer at Home’s outdoor guidance and the Public Health and Environment webpage.
