Fireworks Show
Independence Day festivities in the Town of Erie have varied and changed over time. From parades to concerts, speeches and baseball games to pie eating and pageants. But one thing has always been constant; a celebration among friends and family under an illuminated sky. 2023 event presented by Sherri Bond.

Schedule of Events
- 1 p.m.: Erie Community Center Closure
- 1 p.m.: Pickleball/Tennis Courts Closed
- 1 p.m.: Parking Lot Closure (ECC and Erie Community Park)
- 6 p.m.: Event Parking Begins
- Dusk: Skate Park Closed, no lights programmed for the evening
- 9:30 p.m.: Fireworks Show
- Note: Show time approximate, based on lighting and weather
- Fireworks will launch from the rooftop of the Erie Community Center.
- 10 p.m.: Event Conclusion
- Food trucks and vendors on-site, recurring throughout
- What time will the fireworks show start and how long will it last?

Fireworks will start at approximately 9:30 p.m., and will last approximately 15 minutes.
- Will there be any food or vending options available?

Food vendors will be provided in the south parking lot located just east of the skate park beginning at 6 p.m. Do your part to help make this a low to no waste event! Waste stations will be placed around the park with options for landfill, recycling, and compost. Avoid bringing single use plastics into the event by bringing your own reusable water bottle.

Restrooms will be available at Erie Community Park at Garfield Shelter, the Post Shelter, and the concession stand. Additional port-a-potties and hand washing stations will be located in a central location near the handicap parking area.
- What is prohibited?

Personal fireworks Tailgating, RV's/campers, glass bottles, drones, personal grills, drugs, alcohol, and firearms are prohibited.
- Can we bring our own alcohol?

- Will there be music?

Music will be played throughout the event. The fireworks display will be choreographed to coincide with highs and lows in the music and the overall tenor of the song, greatly increasing the enjoyment of those in attendance.
