Enjoy hours of fun at any one of our Town-owned and maintained parks! Our play equipment is contemporary, encourages innovative play, and meets all industry standards for safety compliance. Within our park inventory, we pride ourselves on having a diverse range of amenities, features, and themes. In addition to traditional playgrounds, we also have a sand volleyball court, multi-use tennis and pickleball courts, and designated pickleball courts and tennis courts.
Feeling adventurous? We also have an 18-hole disc golf course and a singletrack trail system.
We strive to make our facilities accessible to all, all Town-owned and maintained parks provide handicap access.
Park Hours
The Erie Community Park is open from 6 a.m.-10 p.m., all other town-maintained parks and open spaces are open from sunrise to sunset.

ADDRESS: 1750 Powell Street
PARK AMENITIES: ballfield, multi-purpose field, playground, pickleball/tennis courts available for drop-in play, walking trails. Park size: 5.5 acres.
SHELTER AMENITIES: Please note - there is no true shelter at this location. The "shelter" consists of a shaded tree area. Total shelter occupancy: 48.
PARKING: Designated street parking.
SPECIAL FEATURES: Pickleball/tennis courts available for drop-in play.
ADDRESS: 495 Highlands Circle
PARK AMENITIES: two ballfields, multi-purpose field, playground, portable restroom, walking trails. Park size: 8.7 acres.
SHELTER AMENITIES: shelter complete with six tables, two grills, two trash cans. Total shelter occupancy: 48.
PARKING: street parking.
SPECIAL FEATURES: large playground complete with hillside and zipline.
ADDRESS: 575 Kattell Street
PARK AMENITIES: event space, with ample room for festivals and concerts. This new park layout also features a 2,500-square-foot community building with four restrooms, a café, and a community room. There will be plenty of shade at Coal Creek Park, with trees and two large shade shelters, with one adjacent to the playground featuring slides, swings, nature-themed climbers, and a rope structure. The splash pad rounds out the myriad of activities at Coal Creek Park, and in the winter, it will transform into the Town’s new ice rink location
SPLASH PAD HOURS: The splash pad is open through Labor Day weekend from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. daily.
SHELTER AMENITIES:
- East shelter consists of four tables, two are six person tables and two are six person ADA accessible tables. Total shelter occupancy: 24
- West shelter consists of four tables with seating for four people at each. Total shelter occupancy: 16

SPECIAL FEATURES: The highlight of the playground is a custom-built butterfly structure, in memory of Maddie McDaniel, dubbing the playground, “Maddie’s Playground.” Maddie was only weeks old when she passed, and Erie Parks & Recreation worked closely with her family and their non-profit, Maddie’s Bows, to create a place to honor her memory and the memory of other children who left the world too early.

PARK AMENITIES: ballfield, multi-purpose field portable restroom, walking trails. Park size: 9.2 acres.
SHELTER AMENITIES: shelter with four tables, one grill, one trash can, one recycle bin. Total shelter occupancy: 30.
PARKING: paved parking lot.
SPECIAL FEATURES: four outdoor pickleball courts available at this park for both drop-in and reservation play. Please note - there is no playground at this park.
ADDRESS: 1801 Tynan Drive
PARK AMENITIES: two ballfields (all dirt), cricket pitch, playground, portable restroom, walking trails. Park size: 22.2 acres.
SHELTER AMENITIES: small shelter complete with two tables, one trash can, one recycle bin.
PARKING: Dirt parking lot.
SPECIAL FEATURES: Cricket pitch located in native grass area of the park.
ADDRESS: 1300 Lombardi Street
PARK AMENITIES: multi-purpose field, playground, restroom (seasonal), walking trails. Park size: 8 acres.
SHELTER AMENITIES: four tables, two grills, two trash cans, electricity. Total shelter occupancy: 32.
PARKING: Ample street parking.
SPECIAL FEATURES: Playground includes a challenge course element.
ADDRESS: 450 Powers Street
SHELTER AMENITIES: 11 shelter wings available for private rental
PARK AMENITIES: Multi-purpose fields, ballfield complex, shelters, restrooms, walking trails, pumptrack, skate park, reading nooks, turf area for outdoor fitness programming, sledding hill. Park size: 49.3 acres.
PARKING: Four paved parking lots.
ADDRESS: 751 Eichhorn Drive
PARK AMENITIES: drinking fountain, multi-purpose field, playground, portable restroom, walking trails. Park size: 6.1 acres.
SHELTER AMENITIES: Two shelters available for rental.
- North Shelter: four tables, two grills, two trash cans, electricity. Total shelter occupancy: 28.
- South Shelter: two tables, trash can, recycle, electricity. This shelter is located near the splash pad. Total shelter occupancy: 16.

ADDRESS: 311 Wheat Berry Drive
PARK AMENITIES: ballfield, basketball hoop, multi-purpose field, playground, walking trails. Park size: 12.2 acres.
SHELTER AMENITIES: shelter with four tables, two grills, 2 trash cans. Total shelter occupancy: 24.
PARKING: Limited parking lot parking along Wheat Berry Drive, street parking around park.
SPECIAL FEATURES: Amazing mountain views.
ADDRESS: 900 WCR 1.5
PARK AMENITIES: ballfield, drinking fountain, playground, portable restroom, walking trails. Park size: 19.2 acres.
SHELTER AMENITIES: small shelter complete with two tables, one trash can, one recycle, electricity (2 outlets). Total shelter occupancy: 16
PARKING: Large dirt parking lot.
SPECIAL FEATURES: Home of The Boneyard Dog Park.
ADDRESS: 200 Colliers Boulevard
PARK AMENITIES: multi-purpose field, small playground, walking trails, one portable restroom. Park size: 6.6 acres.
SHELTER AMENITIES: small shelter with two tables, one grill, and one trash can. Total shelter occupancy: 16.
PARKING: Limited parking lot parking, street parking.
SPECIAL FEATURES: Outdoor fitness equipment.
ADDRESS: 777 Flatiron Boulevard
PARK AMENITIES: Ballfield, basketball court, multi-purpose field, playground, portable restroom, walking trails. Park size: 8.2 acres.
SHELTER AMENITIES: Large shelter area with 16 tables, two grills, electricity (4 outlets). Total shelter occupancy: 128.
PARKING: Paved parking lot.
SPECIAL FEATURES: Space themed playground complete with human sundial, lighted concrete pathway, and mister boulders.
Facility Rental Request
All Town of Erie park shelters are open to the public for use on a first-come, first-serve basis. To obtain exclusive use of a shelter, a permit must be applied and paid for prior to use. Apply for a permit online through Amilia.
Park shelters are available for rental from March 15 to November 15 each year.
Open Container Permit
If you plan to serve alcohol as part of your shelter rental request, you must complete and submit the the Open Container Permit application at least 30 (thirty) days prior to the event. For more information, please contact the Town Clerk at 303-926-2710.
Edit/Cancellation
Cancelations within 48 business hours receive a full refund. If you need to edit your time/date or cancel your reservation, please email rentals@erieco.gov.
