Erie Community Park Breaks Ground!
Over 250 people celebrated the groundbreaking of Erie Community Park on Friday, June 26, 2009! Mayor Andrew J. Moore and members of the Town of Erie Board of Trustees were joined by three children from Erie's Summer Day Camp program to officially turn the first shovel of Dirt! Also on hand were the design and construction team who are helping to create this great new community gathering place for Erie. Following the ceremony, those in attendance enjoyed ice cream and had a chance to pick up their own commemorative giveaway!
