Pursuant to section 1-2-605 (2) of the Colorado Election Code, "A registered elector who is deemed "Active" but fails to vote in the general election shall have the electors' registration record marked "Inactive" (as of the date of the last general election November 7, 2006) by the county clerk and recorder following the general election. "General Election" means the election held on the Tuesday succeeding the first Monday of November in each even-numbered year.
Any voter listed as "Inactive" will be required to complete a change of status application form prior to a ballot being issued to them. Change of status application forms are available
online and at the Erie Town Clerk's Office.
