The Erie Community Center offers a 32-foot climbing pinnacle with five sections of climbing. There is also a 12-foot bouldering surface for a different style of climbing. Both walls feature various routes which are changed regularly. There is always something new going on at the climbing walls. Come see for yourself!

Supervised Open Climb - Wall is open to all users. All uncertified climbers must purchase a belay ride at Guest Service or have a valid annual pass
 
Unsupervised Open Climb - Wall is open to ECC Certified climbers only, no staff available to belay 

    **During all climbing activities please ensure that:

• Athletic or climbing shoes are required (no barefeet, sandals, or Crocs allowed)
• A waiver must be signed by Parent/Legal Guardian for those under 18 years old
• See climbing schedule for applicable climbing times

Come and enjoy the thrill of the pinnacle! Climbing wall attendants will belay climbers during supervised open climbs. Equipment is included. Closed toe shoes are required. Free with annual pass. Please show pass to attendant.

This course will teach participants proper belay techniques and commands. Participants must attend both classes. All participants who attend and pass the class will receive an ECC belay certification card. This card will allow individuals to climb, belay and/or boulder during open climbing wall hours with a valid pass or daily admission.

Climbing Wall Certification Tests are available during supervised open climb. Climbing belay certification will allow a guest to use the wall during supervised and unsupervised climbing wall hours.

Designated climb times for ECC belay certified climbers only. Climb on! will have staff available to belay.
