  1. SB-152 Community Meeting

    August 21, 2018, 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM @ Town Hall

Erie residents are invited to a community meeting on Tuesday, August 21st from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. in the Board Room at Town Hall to discuss Senate Bill 152 (SB-152) and what it would mean if Erie Board of Trustees were to add a question to the November ballot to opt-out. Currently, state law restricts what the Town can do to promote broadband deployment in Erie. An election to opt-out of the SB 152 restrictions will give the Town the flexibility to better plan for our broadband future. Ken Fellman of Kissinger & Fellman, P.C. will provide a short presentation on the subject, discuss options for municipalities in relation to this State of Colorado legislation and answer questions that residents have.
