Erie Parkway Pedestrian Trail Detour

Beginning the week of September 19, 2016, the asphalt pedestrian trail immediately north of Erie Parkway, between Colliers Blvd/Bonanza Dr. and County Road 5 will be closed and removed due to accommodate the Erie Parkway expansion improvements.

The detour route from Erie High School to Colliers Blvd. will be along the new sidewalk on the north side of Colliers Parkway.  Detour signs at both ends and along the route will be installed to direct pedestrians. Pedestrians must stay on the designated route, and not enter any construction areas adjacent to the path. At this time, Colliers Parkway is not open to vehicular traffic, but will have construction traffic and activities on it.  A permanent concrete sidewalk will be constructed with the Erie Parkway expansion improvements that are scheduled to be complete this winter.
