Update from CDPHE & EPA

Town of Erie Logo

On December 11, 2017 waste drum removal began at the Neuhauser Landfill, which ended operations in 1969. This site is located southwest of the intersection of Weld County Road 5 and Weld County Road 6 in Erie. Contractors are conducting the removal, with both the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment (CDPHE) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) providing oversight.

CDPHE has notified the Town of Erie that they are posting updates online about the daily activities at this site for the public to stay informed.
